Information about SeaRail
Searail is a transport company with activities in Finland and Sweden, that transports freight by rail both east- and westward between its markets in Finland, Scandinavia, Europe, Russia and the CIS countries. The sea voyage between Finland and Sweden is carried out on train ferry with regular departs from Turku and Stockholm.
SeaRail´s transports are railway based, environmentally friendly (ISO 14001) and they are performed mainly by using a fleet of interchangeable bogie wagons. Our comprehensive services cover the entire transport chain from door to door. Our loading and unloading times are flexible and, if necessary, we also handle intermediate storage and delivery needs. Our wide co-operative network enables us to offer a wide range of solution to meet the customers’ specific needs.
SeaRail´s head office is situated in Turku and salesoffices in Stockholm and in Helsingborg. Today the company has 15 employees and the annual turnover is approx. 20 million euro. SeaRail is owned by VR Oy and Green Cargo AB with equal parts.
